How To Apply For A Residential Sticker

In order to apply for your Residential Parking Pass you can apply in person or via our Parking Pass Portal.

If you are applying in person you may do so at The City Clerk's Office located at Room 209 in City Hall.

You must be a resident of Chelsea. You must be the registered owner of the vehicle. You must provide a valid driver's license and a valid vehicle registration.The vehicle must be registered out of your correct Chelsea address. If your Driver's License does not have your correct Chelsea address on the front, you must provide a utility bill in your name no older than 60 days.

Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Visit our Permit Portal.
2. Click Sign Up and enter your info.
3. A 3-digit code will be sent to you via email to validate your account. 
4. Create a 4-Digit Pin.
5. Submit your Permit Application.
6. City staff will review the application within one week. 
 
 
Step 2: Payment Submission

1. We will notify you of the result (Approved/Denied) via Email.
2. Once approved, you may go to Purchase Permit in the Portal to submit payment.
3. Your permit will be mailed to the address listed on the Application (typically 7-10 business days)
