To apply for a business certificate there are a few steps.

Step 1) You must apply for an Occupancy Permit with our Inspectional Services Dept. You can do that online or you can call 617-466-4130 for more info. You can also email smaronski@chelseama.gov for more info.

Step 2) You must pick up an application for a Business Certificate on the online services page. Under licensing

Step 3) Fill out application and it must be notarized before being submitted

Step 4) bring occupancy permit, completed and notarized business certificate application to clerks office. The fee is 25 dollars, payable in cash, check, money order or card
