Beginning on Sunday, August 1 2021, the new municipal lots underneath Tobin Bridge will be open to Chelsea residents.
The two parking lots create a significant increase in available spaces for residents in proximity to Downtown Chelsea.
In total, 148 new parking spaces will be available. The “Tobin - Williams to Second Street Lot” will offer 88 news spaces while 60 parking spots are available in the “Tobin - Second to Everett Ave Lot”.
- From 8:00am-6:00pm, the lots will be open to the public for a fee of $0.50 for up to 10 hours.
- From 6:00pm-Midnight, the lots will be open to the public for free.
- Overnight parking (Midnight-8:00am) will be resident sticker only.
Fees will be paid through the Passport app.
